First burn should last at least 3-4 hours or until entire surface has melted to help ensure your candle burns evenly and to prevent candle tunneling. For an even and smoke-free burn, trim wick 1/8 inch using a wick trimmer before burning each time. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets and anything flammable. Do not move candle while burning. Discontinue use of candle when 1/2" of wax remains.
